Thank you for your interest in the Stony Brook – LGN Intramural Program. We pride ourselves on creating a fun learning environment for your child to learn and have fun while growing through our program.

The Intramural program is intended to develop young soccer players while ensuring players of all skills have fun. All intramural games will be held at Stony Brook P Lot. The emphasis of this program is on the fundamental soccer skills, the physical development of the kids as well as the introduction to competitive play.

Games are typically held on Sunday at Stony Brook P Lot between the hours of 10 AM – 3 PM. Practice sessions during the week will be determined by the Volunteer Coach assigned to the team.

  • Season Start Date: September 17th, 2023
  • Season End Date: June 17th, 2024
  • No Sessions: Dates TBD
  •  $150 registration covers both Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 seasons
  • Grades 1 – 10
  • All games at Stony Brook University P Lot on Sun: 10 AM – 3 PM
  • Includes 1 free skills session per week on Wed (6 – 7 PM) with certified trainers
    • Location: Stony Brook South P Lot
    • Dates: September 20th – November 8th
  • 1 practice per week with a volunteer coach 

Winter Intramural Clinic

  • Dates: Saturdays December 9 – March 9
    • 12 weeks
    • No Session: Dec 23, Dec 30
  • Time: 4 pm – 5 pm
  • Cost: $175
  • Location: World Gym, East Setauket
  • Player Registration

Uniforms: Our uniforms are purchased through 2ndWind in East Setauket. Please contact Steve to order and purchase your shirts for Season. 2ndwind@verizon.net

Coaches and Assistant Coaches:

  • Your job would be to communicate weekly schedules to your team for both games and practices. Manage the substitutions on game day and forward any information from the club to your team.
  • Assistant Coaches are helpful in case your team needs to split or the Coach cannot make games/practices.
  • Our Coaches and Assistants are Vital in making this program grow and to be successful.
