The Grassroots program is intended for 2 – 5-year-olds. All sessions will be run by a qualified coach who will be bringing a fun approach while gradually developing the basic skills of soccer as well as building self-confidence within each child.
The classes for the 2–3-year-olds are 30 – 45 minutes of fun while learning colors, numbers, shapes, storytelling and games with their ball. The 4 – 5-year-olds will play for 1 hour, including focus on the basic names and skills needed for the fundamental side of the sport, all while having fun and playing games while introducing the concept of end-to-end soccer.
To ensure that every child has a positive experience and learns to love the sport in order to continue on in future years, these classes are non-competitive and designed for everyone to have fun all while using games and drills to teach the fundamental side of soccer.
Sessions are typically held on Saturdays:
- 2–3-year-olds 10:15 AM – 11:00 AM
- 4–year-olds 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- 5-year-olds 12:00 PM – 1 PM
Uniforms are handed out at the field. If you have not received one, please contact Coach.Nicolemck@gmail.com. Replacement Jerseys are $15.
